Travel with confidence
We know how important travel is to HalalBooking’s loyal customers, so, in these uncertain times we are making things as easy as possible for you. We are here to help you.

Book with confidence – flexible rates with free cancellation
In a period of rapid change it’s important that you know that you have the time and space to review your decisions before travelling.

We offer free cancellation rates for most of our properties. For others, we have a book now, pay later option, allowing you to secure your 2021 holiday with a small deposit, which is refundable in most of the cases, or with no deposit at all. You will be asked to pay the remaining amount before the booking becomes chargeable, which is usually a few days or a few weeks before your check-in date. If you don’t pay, your booking will be cancelled automatically and your deposit refunded.
Whichever rate you choose, you will find that the terms and conditions are stated clearly, so that you know exactly how long you have to change your mind.
Our flexible rates mean that you can secure your holiday at the best possible price, giving yourself something to look forward to. If you change your mind later or if your circumstances change, it is easy for you to cancel with little or no financial penalty.

Putting health and safety first
These days, high standards of health and safety are more important than ever. When you visit a hotel or villa information page, an information flash under the property name lists additional safety and sanitation measures, which have been put in place to combat the spread of Covid-19. Some countries have put in place 3rd party certification. Turkey, for example, is issuing Safe Tourism Certificates, which have been uploaded to the individual property pages on HalalBooking.com so that you can view them for reassurance.

Hotels need to comply with more than 100 different measures. For more information about the certification criteria, please visit Turkey Tourism, Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) or download the COVID-19 assessment form for accommodation, cafes and restaurants which lists the more than 100 measures.

We were relieved to find that our customers who did travel to Turkey’s halal-friendly beach resorts in Summer 2020, actually gave them higher customer satisfaction ratings than ever before. This shows just how well they have achieved the tricky balance between providing high standards of health and safety and achieving a relaxing holiday atmosphere.
This is what some of our HalalBooking customers, who stayed last summer in Turkey, had to say:

Where can I travel?
These days, government regulations regarding international and even domestic travel are subject to frequent change. This makes it absolutely vital that you check the rules which are in place both in the place where you live and the place to which you are travelling. Travel may only be permitted for certain purposes, or there could be restrictions, such as needing to quarantine or needing to provide a negative test result on entry.
It is your responsibility to check local and national government rules carefully before you travel. These are some of the government websites giving information about foreign travel from popular countries of residence for HalalBooking guests. Please note that we are not responsible for the content of these websites and that this does not cover all countries or all relevant information sources. If a country is not included in this overview it doesn’t mean that no travel restrictions are in place and we recommend that you seek out information for any country you are planning to travel to. We do recommend that you check regularly for updates.

How can I get help with an existing reservation on HalalOrganization?
We understand that due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its health implications, your travel plans might change. For further support, please contact our customer support team at satis@halal.sitehizmet.com.

How do I cancel my booking in this situation?
If your booking is no longer free to cancel or is non-refundable, you may incur a cancellation fee. Properties can also choose to change the dates of your reservation at no extra cost, so it’s worth contacting us to see if this is possible.
If your reservation was affected by Coronavirus-related events such as sudden border closures or travel restrictions enforced by authorities (force-majeure), but is no longer free to cancel or is non-refundable, get in touch with us via satis@halal.sitehizmet.com.

What is the cancellation policy related to Coronavirus?
You may be able to cancel due to the circumstances related to Coronavirus. However this is dependent on several factors, including your destination, the property’s cancellation policy, the date you made your booking, your departure date, your arrival date, your country of origin, and your cancellation reason.
If you need to cancel due to a force majeure (described above) and the booking is no longer flexible, in many cases properties allow you to change the dates. In some cases full refunds might be possible to. However, if you booked a non refundable rate, the hotel has the right to not provide any of these options.
In general, if you don’t book a flexible rate, you may not be entitled to a refund. Your cancellation request will be handled by the property based on your chosen policy and mandatory consumer law, where applicable. During times of uncertainty, we recommend booking an option with free cancellation. If your plans change, you can cancel free of charge until free cancellation expires.
Please get in touch with us via satis@halal.sitehizmet.com. for more details.

Can I move my booking to a later date?
If your booking is flexible, you can change your booking whenever you want. If you change your dates and the property has availability there may be a difference in price (higher or lower). This may be due to seasonality or different rates on weekdays versus weekends. If the rates are higher, you will have to pay the difference between the original price and the price for your new dates. If they are lower, the price difference will be reflected in your booking.
If your booking is not flexible, this is subject to the property’s decision. In the event of a force majeure, the property management might allow a change of date.

Can I transfer my reservation to someone else?
Please contact us at satis@halal.sitehizmet.com. directly if you would like to transfer the reservation to someone else or change the dates. Generally, the property’s individual policies apply. Please contact us to check if it is possible or not.
